Somireddy embarks on Deeksha protesting illegal quartz mining

TDP senior leader and former Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy embarked on Deeksha at Tatiparti village on the night of Saturday in protest against the illegal mining of Quartz minerals.
Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said that 50 tribal families live in Tatiparti village. During the blasting in the quartz mines, the stones fall on the residential locality. The tribal families complained to him about this. The mining department officials did not respond when the issue was taken to their notice.
Somireedy Chandramohan Reddy went to the village on the evening of Saturday. He squatted there in protest against the illegal mining of the quartz mineral.
He continued his Deeksha on Sunday also.
