Minister for Civil Supplies, Nadendla Manohar, assured that the modernisation of Speaker’s Park and the development of tanks at the Itanagar School would be expedited.
The Minister visited several colonies within the Itanagar limits of Tenali constituency on Monday. During his visit, he inspected the NSS Municipal High School and interacted with teachers and students. He also engaged with residents to assess whether they were receiving the benefits of government welfare schemes regularly.
Some residents raised concerns about the cancellation of their social security pensions and appealed to the Minister to take steps for their restoration.
Speaking on the occasion, Manohar assured the public that the modernisation of Speaker’s Park, being undertaken at Rs 1.30 crore, would be completed, and the park would be opened to the public by the coming summer. Additionally, he announced plans to develop the tanks located at Haiyerpet and Itanagar School to enhance local infrastructure.
