State Chief Secretary Dr. KS Jawahar Reddy said that the natural gas pipelines being established between Kakinada-Srikakulam should be speedily carried out. On Friday, he reviewed the matter with the officials in the state secretariat at Velagapudi. The CS said that the works should be expedited as the pipeline has to be established by June next year.
The progress and various aspects of the construction of the pipeline were presented by State Industries and Investments Secretary N. Yuvraj through a PowerPoint presentation. Later, they reviewed the progress of the Godavari gas pipeline distribution network project being established in both the Godavari districts. State Industries Commissioner and MD APGDC K. Praveen Kumar, AP Maritime Board Deputy CEO Ravindranath Reddy, PCB CE Srinivasa Rao, SE Murali, GGPL CFO A. Sahu, AP GDC Chief Manager Vijaya Bhaskar, GGPL MD Funkaj Bhagat and finance department participated in this meeting through video link. Secretary N. Gulzar participated.
