Spl CS inspects Ambedkar Smriti Vanam works in Vja

Special Chief Secretary Y. Srilakshmi and VMC Commissioner Swapanil Dinakar Pundkar visited the ongoing construction site of Ambedkar Smriti Vanam for inspection on Monday. During the visit, the Special CS provided instructions to the staff regarding the areas where beautification works should commence.

The Ambedkar Smriti Vanam project is progressing swiftly, with hundreds of laborers working diligently day and night, aided by heavy machinery. Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been actively involved in the project, overseeing the work and providing guidance. His focused attention on the Ambedkar SmritiVanam initiative has contributed to its timely execution.

Under the supervision of Special CS Srilakshmi and VMC Commissioner Swapnil Dinakar, the construction of the 125-feet-tall Ambedkar SmritiVanam is progressing at a brisk pace, with the aim of transforming it into a popular tourist destination. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has given specific instructions for the development of this project.

The construction work on the imposing Ambedkar statue, standing at 125 feet, in Swarajya Maidan is advancing rapidly. Following the design structure from Delhi, the construction has been executed meticulously, ensuring high-quality standards and minimizing the scope for errors. The sealing and plastering works are progressing smoothly, without any delays. Dedicated quality control officers are meticulously inspecting the construction works to ensure compliance with the highest quality standards.

The construction of the granite footpath, landscaping, and compound is nearing completion, while the parking area is being set up. The premises will soon be adorned with lush greenery, featuring a wide array of beautiful flowers and attractive plants.
