Former Minister and AICC secretary D Sridhar Babu has predicted that Congress would replace the BRS government in Telangana after the next elections.
Therefore, he appealed to the party activists and Youth Congress leaders to work unitedly for the party’s success.
Several Congress leaders and activists called on the MLA Sridhar Babu at his Dhanwada residence on Wednesday. Congress leader Vilas Rao was appointed as party election in-charge for Manthani constituency. The MLA felicitated Vilas Rao by presenting him with shawl.
He visualised a crucial role for the Youth Congress to bolster Congress into power.
Vilas Rao, who is also the official spokesman of the State Youth Congress, said that the Youth Congress activists would work like soldiers to ensure Congress victory. He predicted the victory of Sridhar Babu in Manthani.
Block Congress president Kota Rajababu Goud, Mandal Congress president V Prabhakar Reddy and other functionaries of the party were present at the meeting.
