State government owning Central welfare schemes: Purandeswari

BJP state president Daggubati Purandeswari has alleged that the Jagan Mohan Reddy headed government has owned the Central government sponsored welfare schemes without giving due credit.
Daggubati Purandeswari inaugurated the BJP office here on Thursday flanked by district president Yalla Dorababu. Speaking on the occasion, she slammed that the AP government is plundering even god’s property.
“Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board chairman belongs to another religion and he is not Hindu. The BJP is the only political party in the state which questioned the government for appointing a non-Hindu as the chairman of TTD board,” the BJP state president claimed.
The BJP also raised the corrupt deeds of the YSRCP government including plundering of sand, mines and diverting of Panchayati raj funds to other purposes, she said, adding that no other party in the state have raised these issues. The BJP is acting like the main opposition in AP, she claimed.
She told the BJP cadres that a political strategy would be formulated and implemented for bolstering the party and winning elections in AP. Since the elections are nearing the cadres should be active and continue the same spirit till the end of the elections, she said to the activists.
Purandeswri said that the Centre had extended Rs 200 crore for Konaseema district under the MGNREGA, Rs 270 crore under Jal Jeevan mission and Rs 475 for medical college, alleging that the state government did not extend it share of Rs 1100 crore for the construction of Konaseema railway line.
