From a mega mall to the tallest building in the world, actress Payal Ghosh had an equal intent to visit Dubai. And, what does she see? One of the largest islands that created a magical vacation for her UAE.Telling us all about the amazing views, the skyscrapers, novelty centers, and more — she takes us on a virtual trip to Dubai.

“Dubai to me is a jungle, a concrete jungle. The skyline is so impressive! The view from the decks is worth paying for. It’s a place where a shopaholic woman can even indulge in so much of retail therapy. I stayed at the Armani Hotel inside the Burj Khalifa and enjoyed the majestic dancing fountains to the core.”

Since we were talking about Dubai, the new trend of golden visa’s discussion had to come up and she called it a strategic move. “It’s all for attraction, especially since I see influencers going there on sponsored trips for tourism purposes. This way, the king of Dubai is on its way to making its kingdom the financial capital of the world. It’s a migration trend. Even the industrialist value Dubai so much!”

Moreover, “Armani Hotel’s elegance is very understated.I was exhilarated to be staying at the most famous Italian fashion designer’s hotel chain! And let me tell you, they have not overdone it.The aesthetics inside are so basic which makes me want to visit back the same hotel.”

We did our research too, and found an interesting detail about the hotel Giorgio even personally designed the bottle caps of the luxe bathroom amenities to replicate a large stone he found on a beach that he thought felt like holding someone by the hand!

As an actress she had her frightening moments while on vacation, which was in Bangkok. She says, “I was being followed. It was a group of boys. It made me so panicky then and there. Probably, my stars weren’t aligned at all.The next pit-stop in Malaysia I get robbed! To my luck, my passport wasn’t on me then, it was at the hotel premises or else I was in deep trouble.”

The next location she would like to tick off from her bucket list? “Well, it’s Croatia! For a summer holiday, our movies have made those pebbled beaches so famous. I want to see it too. Fans of Game of Thrones needs no convincing because series top locations are there in Croatia. And the music there, ahaaa, that’s the biggest draw for me right now.”

Sharing her fondest location while shooting for movies, she gives Kerala the number one position because, “Whenever I shot there, I just didn’t see the hills but the backwaters too. The resort we stayed in was so scenic. Even the colours of that place are so appealing that when you see the scene in theatres, you quickly understand it was shot in Kerala.

From Ram Gopal Varma to Mani Ratnam, many prominent filmmakers have chosen Kerala to be the place of shooting and it’s my favourite too as an actress.”
