Steps for Constitution Day celebrations inspected

Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) Commissioner Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar inspected the arrangements for the Constitution Day celebrations at Tummalapalli Kshetrayya Kalakshetram to be organised on Saturday in which the Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will participate.

He observed the gallery and the premises and suggested several changes. He directed them to create a pleasant atmosphere on the premises and to complete all arrangements on a war foot basis in time. He also inspected the drains on the main and internal roads and gave several instructions to the officials.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of the VMC, Rayana Bhagyalakshmi inspected the CC road construction works near KBN College and asked the contractor for details and the progress of the works. She directed the contractor to complete the work as early as possible by deploying more workers and machinery.
