District Collector P Prshanthi and SP U Ravi Prakash on Tuesday inspected the arrangements for a programme in the town to be participated by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on December 29.
District Collector P Prashanthi along with SP U Ravi Prakash, Joint Collector S Ram Sundar Reddy and the officials inspected the arrangements at the government junior college. They also inspected the helipad and venue for the public meeting on the campus of a Lutheran school.
The Collector inspected the dais for the meeting, the Chief Minister’s bus, the convoy, the arrival of the vehicles of the ministers and the legislators and their parking place for vehicles. Collector Prashanthi said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy would credit the benefits of the Vidya Deewena scheme into the accounts of beneficiaries by pressing a button on the computer.
The Collector asked the officials to bring her notice if there were any problems. She also asked them to make all arrangements to make the Chief Minister’s programme in the district a success.
The Collector said that over 25,000 people are expected to attend the Chief Minister’s meeting on the day. As many as 700 buses would be operated to bring the people to the meeting, she said that directed the Panchayat Raj officials to make arrangements for the parking of the 700 buses. RDO K Srinivasulu Raju, EPDCL EE Pheer Ahmad Khan, R&B officer B Lokeswara Rao, district social welfare officer K Sobharani and Municipal Commissioner M Shyamala were among those who accompanied the Collector.
