Steps to save power in TTD: EO

To save the consumption of electrical energy in TTD, EO AV Dharma Reddy directed the concerned officials to find a mechanism and come out with an action plan for the same. A meeting with the officials of AP State Conservation Mission(APSCM) and Non-conventional Energy Development Corporation of AP (NEDCAP) along with the TTD Engineering department in the EO chambers at TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Thursday.

The EO said new equipment with the latest technology to save the consumption of Electrical Energy is being installed in all the departments in TTD. He said the APSCM will replace the 100 old water pipes located in Pumping stations with new ones under ESCO (Energy Services Company). TTD is not investing a single penny in this project from its funds. Similarly, NEDCAP will provide a solar steam cooking system in the Annaprasadam wing of TTD to save cooking gas. TTD has entered an MoU with these institutions under ESCO model.

CE Nageswara Rao, APSCM CEO Chandrasekhar Reddy, NEDCAP GM Jagadeeshwar Reddy, Area Manager Anjaneyulu Reddy, SE 2 Jagadeeshwar Reddy DE Ravishankar Reddy, Water Works EE Srihari were also present.
