Strict action against colleges withholding hall tickets

Eluru District Collector K Vetriselvi has warned all district Intermediate, degree, and professional college managements and principals against withholding hall tickets or original certificates from students. She stated that any complaints of such practices, or excessive fee collection, would result in strict legal action against the institutions involved. Additionally, the recognition of such colleges could be revoked.
The Collector emphasised that all students who have applied on the ‘Jnanabhumi’ portal are entitled to fee reimbursement (RTF) and mess charges (MTF). College management and principals were instructed to immediately provide hall tickets and original certificates to students without subjecting them to harassment. Students facing issues with hall tickets or certificates can lodge complaints by contacting the District Collector’s grievance cell at 9491041188, the Collector added.
