Suhas, who started as a comedian and then transitioned to lead roles, is now set to make his Tamil debut with the film Mandaadi. Directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, who gained acclaim for his debut Selfie, Mandaadi promises a more expansive cinematic experience. Leading the cast is Soori, whose transformation into intense, content-rich roles continues to impress. Suhas plays a powerful antagonist, while Mahima Nambiar stars as the female lead, enhancing the film’s regional appeal.
After revealing the title, the makers unveiled the first look of Soori, which received a positive response. On Monday, they released Suhas’s first look — showcasing him in a raw and rugged avatar. Sporting grey hair and a lungi, he stands with his crew, the ‘Tsunami Riders’, on a seashore with a boat anchored in the background.
The film also features Sathyaraj, Ravindra Vijay, and Achyuth Kumar in key roles. Rooted in grit and resilience, Mandaadi is more than just a sports film — it’s a story of survival, identity, and inner strength. Music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
