Finally, after much anticipation, the trailer for Sudha Kongara’s directorial debut has been unveiled, quickly gaining traction on social media.
The 2:30-minute trailer for ‘Sarfira’ begins with a voice-over by Akshay Kumar introducing his character, Vir Mhatre. The visuals capture an aerial view of a village near Jarandeshwar, Mhatre’s hometown, as he expresses his ambition to launch a low-cost airline accessible to all. Despite facing skepticism from industry leaders, Mhatre persistently pitches his vision.
‘Sarfira’ is a Hindi remake of Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru. The exciting news here is that Suriya will have a cameo in this Hindi version of the film. The original film was inspired by the book ‘Simply Fly – A Deccan Odyssey’ by Captain GR Gopinath. It will revolve around how Simplifly Deccan came into being.
Following his appearance in ‘ET’, Suriya returns to the screen with a cameo in the Hindi remake ‘Sarfira’, directed by Sudha Kongara. ‘Sarfira’ is set for a July release, promising a Diwali treat for fans and the audiences are very excited about this cameo in the movie.
