The 2:30-minute trailer for ‘Sarfira’ begins with a voice-over by Akshay Kumar introducing his character, Vir Mhatre. The visuals capture an aerial view of a village near Jarandeshwar, Mhatre’s hometown, as he expresses his ambition to launch a low-cost airline accessible to all. ‘Sarfira’ is a Hindi remake of Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru. The exciting news here is that Suriya will have a cameo in this Hindi version of the film. The original film was inspired by the book ‘Simply Fly – A Deccan Odyssey’ by Captain GR Gopinath. It will revolve around how Simplifly Deccan came into being.
