Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) senior Vice-President Mallu Ravi unveiled t-shirts made in support of the Nyaya Yatra at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday.
Victims of the District Selection Committee (DSC) 2008 expressed full support to Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra. They appealed to the State government to give them jobs and do justice during the Nyaya Yatra.
Before that, Prof Kodandaram also unveiled these t-shirts at his residence. He hoped that the victims, who have been waiting for justice for 14 years, would get justice without fail under the Congress government.On the front and back of the t-shirts, along with Nyaya Yatra logo, the slogans “Justice for the victims of DSC-2008, Do Justice DSC-2008 Telangana” were printed.
DSC 2008 TS Association president Umamaheshwar Reddy, members Ramesh, Venkat and  Kokkula Srinivas said that the joint government announced DSC in December 2008 and about a month and-a-half later it gave 30 per cent reservation to DIET candidates in the Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) posts. In regards to results, first the merit list was announced as per the notification and after that 30 per cent reservation was implemented, around 1,200 candidates have expressed their grief that they have lost.
