Tadipatri civic chief colluded with mafia

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and Tadipatri municipal chairman JC Prabhakar Reddy has made sensational accusations against controversial police officer Tadipatri DSP Chaitanya stating he had colluded with the mafia gangs.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Prabhakar Reddy accused DSP Chainaya of colluding with ‘Matka’ gamblers, ganja, sand mafia and cricket betting rackets.

Prabhakar Reddy justified DIG Ravi Prakash’s comments that Tadipatri was the worst police sub-division in the district.

Prabhakar Reddy slammed DSP Chaitanya as a characterless police officer. “DIG Ravi Prakash is the only police officer who told the factors. I have made many complaints against DSP Chaitanya’s atrocities. But no official has taken action against the DSP,” Prabhakar Reddy said, and congratulated DIG Ravi Prakash for telling the facts.

Prabhakar Reddy said that DSP Chaitanya filed a case under section 307 against a woman on a personal vendetta. The law and order situation has deteriorated in Tadipatri, and he regretted and demanded disciplinary action against DSP Chaitanya.
