Odela Railway Station, starring Hebbah Patel, a crime thriller, scored huge success in 2022. Directed by Ashok Teja, the movie has set everyone rolling during that time. Now, it is official that the team is working on its sequel, titled Odela 2.
They brought on board the sensational actress Tamannaah Bhatia to play the lead role in this second part. Tamannaah gained national recognition for her recent successful over-the-top (OTT) appearances. Therefore, the film’s producers intend to release it in a number of languages. Produced by D. Madhu under the names Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks, the film will be directed by Ashok Teja and written by Sampath Nandi.
The film’s opening took place in Kashi, where the regular shoot also commenced.
Odela 2 delves far deeper and deeper into its origins. The village, its rich history, customs, and culture are the main focus of the sequel, along with how Odela Mallanna Swamy, the village’s real saviour, constantly defends it from hostile forces.
The title poster, released yesterday, appears mystical. It displays Lord Shiva’s Trishula, which is also revered as Mallanna Swamy. Hebah Patel and Vasishta N. Simha are the prominent cast. The VFX is said to be top-notch in the movie, while Odela 2 will have well-known technicians taking care of different crafts. Soundar Rajan S. cranks the camera, while Ajaneesh Loknath of Kantara fame will provide the music. Rajeev Nair is the art director.
