The TDP, the BJP and the Jana Sena Party are likely to contest together in Telangana.
On Wednesday Nara Lokesh met Union Minister Amit Shah in the presence of Union Minister Kishan Reddy who is also the Telangana state BJP President.

Bandi Sanjay is the BJP in-charge Secretary of Andhra Pradesh. JSP is a constituent of the NDA. Highly placed sources said that prominent leaders of the JSP and the BJP were expected to meet but kept postponing the meeting.

Sources in the BJP said that the Mahakutami alliance of 2018 with the TDP helped the TRS, so having an alliance with the TDP is still being considered. The state BJP is divided on having an alliance with the TDP. Sources, however, said that if Delhi decides, whatever has to happen will happen.

The TDP had earlier announced plans to contest in Telangana and had even organised a public meeting in Khammam.

The JSP didn’t contest in the GHMC polls but extended support to BJP candidates. The JSP has already announced that it will contest the Telangana Assembly elections and has picked 32 constituencies, a majority of which are urban, located in and around Hyderabad, apart from a few in Khammam and Nalgonda districts.

Pawan Kalyan expressed his willingness to forge an alliance in Andhra Pradesh. Last week he said, “I want the JSP, the TDP and the BJP to contest the 2024 LS elections jointly to ensure that anti-YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) votes do not get split.”
