Must read

Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) in Telangana and MLA of Kothagudem, has suggested that the TDP and Jana Sena Party should join forces with the Left Parties in the upcoming elections to defeat the ruling YSRCP in the State. Sambasiva Rao also urged the TDP to lead the fight against the State government on the people’s problems.
After winning his second MLA term from Kothagudem in Telangana, Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao made his first visit to the Dasari Bhavan in Vijayawada on Wednesday, where he spoke at a media conference with CPI AP State secretary K Ramakrishna.
Rao expressed his opinion that a secular rule would only be possible with the INDIA Bloc, comprising secular, democratic, and other like-minded political parties in the country. He made serious allegations against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their anarchic rule in the State and at the Centre, respectively.
The Left parties have been relentlessly fighting against the government on the people’s problems, so Kunamneni urged the public to elect left representatives in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
Ramakrishna alleged that both the BJP and the YSRCP had failed to fulfil their promises to the public. He said that the state was now in election mode following the release of the final publication of the electoral rolls.
Meanwhile, Ramakrishna announced that the CPI national council meetings would be held in Hyderabad from February 2 to 3, and attended by CPI general secretary D Raja, national secretary Dr K Narayana.
The meeting was attended by CPI State secretariat members G Obulesu, G Eswaraiah, leaders Ch Koteswara Rao, Y Chenchaiah, G Koteswara Rao, and others.
