Calls upon everyone to work together to develop district across all fields, in alignment with ‘Swarnandhra @2047’
NTR District Collector Dr G Lakshmisha has urged all district officials to unite and work as ‘Team NTR’ with the goal of positioning the district as the number one in all sectors within the State. Lakshmisha drew inspiration from the ambitious vision of Swarnandhra @2047 and emphasised the importance of achieving the 10 key components outlined in the initiative.
During the 76th Republic Day celebrations, the Collector unfurled the Indian national flag at the police parade grounds as well as the district collectorate in Vijayawada on Sunday. He received guard of honour from the march past contingents and extended Republic Day greetings to the people of the district.
In his address to the gathering, Collector Dr G Lakshmisha called upon everyone to work together as Team NTR to advance the district across all fields, in alignment with the aspirations of Swarnandhra. He reiterated that collective commitment, innovation, and dedication are crucial for achieving this shared vision. He encouraged collaborative efforts across all departments to ensure holistic and sustainable development, aiming to make Andhra Pradesh a benchmark for progress by 2047.
He stressed the importance of making a commitment to achieving the goals outlined in the vision document unveiled by the State government, which includes 10 principles for growth. These principles focus on poverty eradication, employment generation, skill and human resource development, water security for every household, agricultural technology for farmers, a world-class distribution system, energy cost control, complete production across sectors, a clean Andhra with integrated policies, and the use of integrated technology at all levels, he explained.
Additionally, Collector Lakshmisha, along with Assistant Collector Shubham Nokhwal, DRO M Lakshmi Narasimham, and other officials, presented appreciation letters to staff and individuals who have provided exemplary service in their duties. A total of 517 people received these letters, including officials from various departments such as Revenue, Police, Medical Health, Municipal, Agriculture, and Industries, as well as representatives from NCC, NSS, and NGOs.
Vijayawada RDO Kavuri Chaitanya, Nandigama RDO K Balakrishna, Thiruvur RDO K Madhuri, Rural Zone DCP KM Maheshwararaju, among others, were present.
