Telangana Grameena Bank provides loans to self-help groups

Telangana Grameen Bank Nirmal regional office organised a mega loan disbursement programme at the new Collectorate building.
Chairman of Telangana Grameen Bank YS Shobha participated in the loan disbursement programme. Loans were provided to women self-help groups.
She exhorted woman to become entrepreneurs. She urged the women to take advantage of ample opportunities and become financially strone.
Talking about the Women’s Associations, she said that there is no non-performing assets in the loans given to the Women self-help groups. She said that 30 per cent of the women are working in Telangana Grameen Bank and 30 per cent of the loans have been given to women.  Every woman is asked to increase her income through such loans taken by the bank and thereby also improve the status of the district.
District Project Director DRDA Vijayalakshmi said that as a part of rural development, rural women should maintain good relations.
TGB RM Rama Rao said that everyone is requested to use the social security scheme. He said that they can get 24 lakh insurance with a premium Rs 1,456 per year.
