Commenting that Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar was speaking without decorum, the Union Minister of Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, said that the people of Telangana knew what his DNA is. There is no need for anybody’s certificate, Kishan Reddy said.
During a chit-chat with journalists on Thursday, Kishan said that the state government should clean the Musi and supply water. The BJP has no objection if the government brings water from Krishna and Godavari, he said.
Kishan said that the BJP will not remain silent if even a single house is demolished near the Musi River.
He warned that the BJP will not keep quiet if the Congress government engages in the real estate business after demolishing houses.
The Union Minister said that it was enough if the government constructed a retaining wall and set up drainage systems in the city. He said that they would stay at night in the Musi area and would eat and stay there for a day.
Kishan also made it clear that the BJP is not against the caste census. However, the government should implement 42 per cent reservations in local body elections.
Kishan said the BJP will announce the names of candidates for MLC elections. The selection of candidates would be done with the objective of winning elections, he said.
Kishan said that BJP leaders would visit paddy purchasing centres. The BJP will see the end of the BRS and the Congress in the state. There is no politics in Telangana without the BJP, he added.
