‘Telangana rejected TDP’

Although the TDP and its Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu did not utter a single word against the BRS at the meeting held at Khammam on Wednesday named TDP Shankaravam, the BRS launched a scathing attack on them on Thursday.

Reacting to the call given by Chandrababu that leaders who left TDP to rejoin the TDP, Minister T. Harish Rao said that the Telangana region was subjected to looting during Chandrababu’s government. He said that Chandrababu is in a hurry to forge an alliance with the BJP in Andhra Pradesh and that Chandrababu has been enacting dramas for that.

TRS MLC Kavitha said that the Telangana moon is KCR although Chandrababu has come to Telangana. She said that Chandrababu is trying to activate the TDP which has been buried in Telangana.

BRS MLA Danam Nagender said that leaders from other parties joined the BRS to become part of the development drive launched by KCR. He suggested Chandrababu to prevent leftover TDP leaders from joining the BRS.

Minister Gangula Kamalakar said that AP leaders have eyed the resources of Telangana and that YS Sharmila, who spoke against Telangana, has entered Telangana with her YSRTP.

In the same manner, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and KA Paul and now Chandrababu have also entered Telangana, he said and added that Chandrababu took over the Sileru power plant and seven mandals of Khammam.

He questioned why these leaders are coming to Telangana instead of going to Karnataka or Tamil Nadu.
