We will not let political differences come in the way of helping other states,” KTR said. He said that Telangana produces 3.5 crore tonnes of paddy every year and that Telangana now tops the country in paddy cultivation. The Kaleshwaram Project irrigates lakhs of acres, he said.

He said that the per capita income of Telangana doubled after the formation of the state.

The Lulu Group started operations in the state in the presence of KTR at the ITC Kakatiya Hotel in Begumpet, Hyderabad.
