Mystery of the Tattoo, which is the Bollywood debut of the television actor Rohit Raaj — on his way to taste success, perhaps? The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Ameesha Patel, and Daisy Shah, among others. Having worked as a child artist in prominent commercials and television series, he also has his roots in the Hindi belt. He shared, “Television was never the ultimate conclusion of my life; I was rather interested in feature films. This line of work makes you shine even more! I wanted to go anywhere related to cinema; I was so mad about it.”

Rohit has also mastered different skills such as dance, boxing, and mixed martial arts over the past nine years. The actor is currently shooting for his second Bollywood film titled Super Woman, which will star Tigmanshu Dhulia, Poonam Dhillon, Meera Chopra, and Rohit Raaj. So he continued, “Even during the pandemic, I was looking for work. I was so desperate to get into the bigger industry — I was fully into virtual auditions also. I stumbled upon this film and learned that the creators were looking for a newcomer, and it had to be me. My director was living in the United Kingdom, so the entire process was done with the help of just a Zoom call. The whole crew was joining a Zoom meeting. A different experience altogether.”

To him, practicality gives one true wisdom, as he explained: “You can study acting and even have a degree in it, but applying it on camera is so different from what you read in books. My knowledge of acting came directly from the field, and it was higher than anything. Especially the way I saw the crew working behind the screens. They are the ones who tackle anything that goes wrong in a feature film! The director doesn’t have to worry an inch if he has hired a doting crew like this.”

Then, having good mental and physical health is also very important in an actor’s life. Wondering the exact coordinates of it? Well, he explained, “Appreciating one and depreciating another always takes a toll on us actors. It was never about having a good physique for me to have a breakthrough in cinema! Low body fat or looking lean shouldn’t be your end goal. Please focus on your mental health; you are entering into a stressful job.” His upcoming film’s post-production is finished, but ROHIT RAAJ still has no time to rest.
