When his convoy was obstructed, Sanjay Kumar got into an argument with the police. He said that he was on his way to a temple. The BJP activists raised slogans against the police.

The BJP has decided to take up the yatra from November 28 to December 17 from Bhainsa to Karimnagar. The yatra will continue for 20 days and Bandi Sanjay decided to walk for 222 kilometers through 5 districts, 3 Parliament constituencies and 8 Assembly segments. Sanjay decided to start his padayatra performing special poojas at Adelli Pochamma Ammavari temple in Nirmal district and participate in a public meeting at Bhainsa.

Arrangements were made for the yatra as Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was invited to take part in it as the chief guest.
