In the wake of Operation Sindhoor, a high-level review was conducted to assess the security scenario and bolster measures to protect public institutions, citizens, and VIPs, including Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The review was led by Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta, Intelligence Chief Mahesh Chandra Laddha, and other senior police and intelligence officials.
The DGP issued clear directives to enforce existing security protocols strictly, especially those related to the Chief Minister’s safety. While ruling out an increase in personnel or deployment strength, he emphasised that all prescribed measures must be followed without relaxation.
