TS, Meghalaya CMs discuss partnership

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma paid a courtesy call to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at the Pragathi Bhavan on Thursday. The CM accorded a cordial welcome to Sangma and hosted a high tea for him.

“It was a great pleasure to call upon the Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, during my visit to the state. Discussed sister state partnership between Telangana and Meghalaya. Telangana is one of the leading states in the country and we hope that the partnership brings a breakthrough in grassroots entrepreneurship and development of the IT industry in Meghalaya, making the partnership a model of how small and big states can be a part of each other’s growth story. Look forward to positive outcomes,” Sangma tweeted.

On Wednesday, Sangama met team T-Hub in Hyderabad to foster an innovative start-up ecosystem in Meghalaya.

“With their expertise and our government’s commitment, we will work out a feasible model so that entrepreneurs and start-ups supported by our PRIME program can be guided to transform their entrepreneurial drives. Look forward to this exciting partnership,” he said in a tweet.KCR felicitated the Meghalaya CM with a shawl and a memento. Later, the CM bid farewell to Sangma. Ministers KT Rama Rao, T. Harish Rao, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, MLCs Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Madhusudana Chari, MLA Rohit Reddy, Planning Commission Vice Chairman B. Vinod Kumar, former Union Minister Venugopala Chari, BRS leaders Dasoju Sravan, K. Vamsidhar Rao and others were also present.
