Transfer of Vivekananda Reddy case a slap to Jagan Reddy: Naidu

Telugu Desam party chief N Chandrababu Naidu termed the transfer of the murder case Y S Vivekananda Reddy to Telangana state is a slap on the face to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and he lauded Y S Sunita Reddy for her battle for justice.

Addressing a huge crowd at Vijayarai village during his ‘Idemi Kharma-Mana Rashraniki” on Wednesday, Chandrababu Naidu reminded that the Supreme Court itself said that efforts were made to dilute the Vivekanana Reddy murder case. Naidu lauded the battle being waged by Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Sunita Reddy to get the killers of her father punished by the court.

Naidu flayed that Jagan Mohan Reddy has no right to rule the state. If Jagan Mohan Reddy was voted to power again, Amaravati would not be the state capital, he said.

“Jagan Moha Reddy is under the false impression that he can kill me as easily as he killed Y S Vivekananda Reddy. Now they have targeted Lokesh. But we are not scared of the threats of YSRCP leaders.

If Jagan Mohan Reddy is voted to power once again, destruction is inevitable in the state. We are trying to create awareness among the people in the name of ‘Idemi Kharma-Mana Rashtrani,” Naidu made it clear. Naidu lashed out that the YSRCP regime had created hurdles for the construction of the Polavaram project in the name of ‘Reverse Tendering’, adding that he had already predicted that the Polavaram project construction works would come to a halt in the YSRCP regime. “I pursued the progress of Polavaram construction works by reviewing every Monday. We made Somavaram as Polavaram,” he recalled.

Meanwhile, responding to Chandrababu Naidu’s accusations, Denduluru MLA K Abbayya Chowdary claimed that development works at a cost of Rs 1,700 crore had been carried out in Denduluru constituency during the last three and half years. He said that a large number of youths in the constituency had got jobs. He dared Chandrababu Naidu to tell one of the major developments carried out in the constituency during the TDP regime.
