Transport sector pledges support to Cong in LS polls

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy promised to take steps to address the concerns of the lorry owners and improve the transport sector in the State, according to   Syed Sadiq, State Vice-President of the Lorry Owners Association.
He told the reporters that the association members had met the Chief Minister.
A meeting was held in Hyderabad on Monday where Telangana Lorry Owners Association State Chairman Ramineni, General Secretary Durga Prasad, State Vice Presidents Syed Sadiq and Jagannath Reddy, along with other officials, met the Chief Minister. Also present at the meeting were State Minister Konda Surekha and other officials.
During the discussion, the people in the transport sector expressed their happiness over the Congress government addressing their grievances. Posters have been distributed to drum up support for Congress candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Chief Minister pledged that the commitments made in the manifesto for the transportation sector would be fulfilled.
Syed Sadiq, who is also the leader of the Shadnagar Congress Party, urged everyone to support and campaign for Congress candidates, emphasising the party’s commitment to addressing the concerns of lorry owners and promoting the development of the transport sector.
