Must read

President and members of the Sarvodaya Trust, established by the Krishna District Freedom Fighters Association, Vijayawada, paid their respects to the late Ramoji Rao on Sunday at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Dr GV Mohan Prasad, president of the Trust, along with distinguished members Advocate Matta Jayakar and Dr Nagesh Chennupati from the United Kingdom, paid rich floral tributes to the esteemed luminary.
On the occasion, Dr Mohan Prasad said that Ramoji Rao, through his value-based living principles, touched the lives of millions of people, particularly within the Telugu-speaking community worldwide. It is no exaggeration that he was a personality of Himalayan stature, unparalleled by any other Telugu-speaking individual.
Ramoji Rao’s legacy is vast and impactful, spanning various media and communication platforms including Eenadu, ETV, ETV Bharat, and the Annadaata magazine, which is dedicated to farmers. While national leaders like Mahatma Gandhi fought for and achieved India’s independence, illustrious figures such as Ramoji Rao gave meaning to that freedom. Through his actions and influential thought leadership, he has profoundly shaped the mindset and lives of the people. The loss of Ramoji Rao is colossal and irreparable.
Sarvodaya Trust, founded by the Krishna District Freedom Fighters Association, is dedicated to upholding the values and principles of freedom and community service. The Trust continues to work towards the betterment of society through various initiatives and programmes.
