The date for registration of colleges and students on the TS e-pass website for sanctioning fresh, renewed scholarships for the 2022-23 year, has been extended to March 31.
The Government of Telangana offers scholarships under Post-Matric Scholarships (PMS) Scheme benefiting Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Class (BC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), minorities and Physically Challenged students in the State.The system needs the registration of colleges and students to enable the processing of data for sanctioning scholarships.
The registration of colleges and students for the year 2022-23 in the TS e-pass website for the process and sanction of scholarship applications commenced on October 16 and is going to cease on January 31.
The admissions for various Professional courses, i.e, UG Ayush, UG Dental, PG Medical, PG Dental and DIET CETs are not completed so far. Eligible students have to register their applications after completion of the admission process for their respective courses.
The Conveners of certain Common Entrance Tests of Professional courses have also not yet finalized the counselling data which is required for fresh registration of students. Hence, the government has hereby extended the date for registrations for renewal and fresh scholarship applications and as well as college registrations in TS e-pass for the Academic Year 2022-23 from 1st February to March 31, so as to enable the students to register their applications for sanction of Post Matric Scholarships.
