Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) approached the High Court’s Division Bench appealing not to abolish the Group-I prelims examination. The TSPSC challenged the High Court’s Single Bench verdict given on September 23rd. The TSPSC requested for Lunch Motion for emergency hearing. However, the High Court Division Bench refused TSPSC’s request and agreed to hear the case on Tuesday.

The TSPSC Council argued that the candidates will experience mental agony if conducted the Group-I prelims examination once again as the TSPSC conducted the examination already two times. The Council also argued that it is not easy for the candidates to appear for the examination for the third time.

It may be recalled that the TSPSC canceled the Group-I prelims examination for the first time stating that the paper was leaked. However, the High Court directed the TSPSC to abolish the examination as it failed to follow the guidelines mentioned in the notification.
