Bowing to intense public pressure and apparently in the light of the findings of the forensic audit, the Telangana State Public Service Commission has cancelled the examination held on March 5th and issued a fresh notification for filling 837 vacancies, which includes posts of Assistant Engineers, Municipal Assistant Engineers, Technical Officers, and Junior Technical Officers in various Engineering Departments.
The Commission said, after careful examination of the case registered by the Central Crime Station, Hyderabad District, regarding leakage of question papers, it had decided to cancel the examination held on March 5th. The fresh date for conducting the examination will be announced later, TSPSC said.

Minister K T Rama Rao on Wednesday urged Director-General of Police Anjani Kumar to enquire the TSPSC question paper leakage matter thoroughly even as pictures of accused 2, showing his links to BJP, went viral on Twitter. The Minister tweeted: “Even by the very low standards of BJP, this is vulgarity at its worst. Just to malign Telangana govt, BJP seems to have hatched a conspiracy to destroy the lives of innocent youth. I request the @TelanganaDGP Garu to enquire this matter thoroughly and bring perpetrators to justice.”
There were pictures of accused 2 being shared on Twitter saying: “Accused 2 in TSPSC paper leak case Rajshekar Reddy is #BJP activist and was an active campaigner to the party in the last few elections”
