TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakara Reddy said on Friday that Srivaru always took care of his true devotees.
Earlier, he received hundreds of devotees who came on foot from Gopasandram of Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu at Srinivasa Mangapuram on their way to Srivari Mettu.
Speaking on the occasion, the TTD Chairman said the Padayatra was one such path chosen by the devotees to showcase their true devotion towards Venkateswara.
He said many ardent devotees like Sri Purandaradasa, Tallapaka Annamacharya, Vyasaraya and emperor Krishanadevaraya had trekked Tirumala and got salvation.
JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, Temple Special Grade DyEO Varalakshmi, AEO Gopinath, Superintendent Changalalrayulu , Dakshina Tirupati Temple Chairman Narayana Swami and hundreds of devotees from Tamil Nadu were present.
