‘Turkey keen on boosting ties with TG’

After meeting with Turkey’s Ambassador to India, Firat Sunel, IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu said that Turkey is keen to enhance ties with Telangana.
During their 30-minute discussion at the Secretariat on Friday, the two leaders explored ways to cooperate.
Sridhar highlighted the long-standing historical and cultural ties between Telangana and Turkey. He pointed out that Telangana provides a good environment for investments in sectors like agriculture, pharmaceuticals, life sciences and commerce.
He asked the Ambassador to send an industrial delegation to explore Telangana’s business ecosystem. Ambassador Firat Sunel welcomed the idea and expressed readiness to do that. Turkey’s Consul General, Orhan Yaman Okan, also attended the meeting.
