In a harrowing incident that sent shockwaves through Komarada on the Parvatipuram-Raigadh highway, a solitary tusker went on a rampage, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

The elephant, believed to have become separated from its herd nearly 10 days ago, wreaked havoc by targeting a private bus and terrorizing the local populace.
The terrifying ordeal began when the marauding tusker targeted a stationary private bus, mercilessly smashing its windscreen and shoving it aside with astonishing force. Passengers on board quickly evacuated the bus, fleeing to safety, as the colossal beast wreaked havoc.

In a display of unrestrained fury, the elephant then turned its attention to two parked motorcycles near the Artam village secretariat, leaving them damaged in its wake.

The scene grew even more chaotic as the tusker pursued terrified residents who scattered in every direction upon encountering the raging creature. Villagers attempted to fend off the elephant, brandishing sticks and making loud noises in a desperate but ultimately futile effort to drive it away.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this rampage. However, the local residents are living in fear as the displaced tusker continues to roam the area unchecked. In light of this alarming situation, residents have issued an impassioned plea to forest officials to capture the rogue tusker and facilitate its reunion with its lost herd.

The entire shocking episode of the elephant’s attack quickly gained widespread attention on social media, serving as a stark reminder of the challenges and dangers posed by displaced wildlife in human settlements.

The incident stands as a sobering reminder of the urgent need for effective wildlife management and conservation efforts to ensure the safety and coexistence of both humans and animals in our shared ecosystem.
