U-turn: Pawan to take part in ‘Yuvagalam’ closing event

Must read

In a surprising turn of events, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has decided to participate in the closing ceremony of TDP leader Nara Lokesh’s ‘Yuvagalam’ padayatra. The much-anticipated event is scheduled for December 20 in Vizianagaram, where leaders of both parties, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, will share the stage for the first time. The TDP leaders are orchestrating extensive preparations for a massive public gathering, anticipating the participation of thousands of attendees.
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday evening made an unexpected visit to Pawan Kalyan’s residence in Hyderabad. During their meeting, the two party leaders deliberated on various topics, including a joint manifesto and the allocation of MLA tickets. Notably, the ‘Yuvagalam’ closing event emerged as a crucial point of discussion.
Following Naidu’s visit, Pawan Kalyan, swayed by the seasoned politician’s persuasion, reversed his earlier decision and agreed to attend the ‘Yuvagalam’ event. Pawan Kalyan found it challenging to decline the invitation extended by Chandrababu Naidu, and he reportedly assured Naidu of his presence at the closing ceremony. This convergence marks a significant public appearance uniting Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan.
Elaborate arrangements are underway at the venue, heralding the joint launch of the political campaigns for TDP and Jana Sena.
Initially, the TDP leadership had invited Pawan Kalyan to the programme, but he cited prior commitments as the reason for his unavailability. Earlier statements from TDP sources indicated Jana Sena’s participation, but subsequent discussions hinted at Pawan Kalyan potentially skipping the event. TDP even conveyed through social media that Pawan would not be present, highlighting Chandrababu Naidu, Balakrishna, and Lokesh on the promotional posters. However, in light of the recent development, the promotional materials have been updated to include Pawan Kalyan, symbolizing a new era as TDP and Jana Sena embark on their political journey together through the Yuvagalam event – Navashakam.
