The BRS government will be depositing Vanakalam Rythu Bandhu grants into the bank accounts of 70 lakh farmers from Monday (June 26) onwards.
griculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy said in a statement that this year there are five lakh new beneficiaries. The government has also extended Rythu Bandhu to about four lakh acres belonging to 1,50,000 podu farmers, he said.
The government will deposit in the farmers’ bank accounts this monsoon season Rs 7720.29 crore and an additional Rs 300 crore.
With the 11th phase, Rythu Bandhu will add Rs 72,910 crore to farmers’ bank accounts. He said that farmers cultivating 1.54 crore acres will be given assistance and that the government had deposited Rs 65,190 crore till now in 10 seasons.
