Veera Dheera Sooran to have a prequel: Reports

Actor Vikram has unveiled a new poster for his next film, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, which shows him riding a motorcycle alongside Dushara Vijayan. The 62nd film of Vikram’s career features the actor as a department store owner, as the poster says. It also mentions that the film is under production. The directors are apparently filming Veera Dheera Sooran in Thenkasi. SU Arun Kumar directs the film, which also stars SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Siddique. For the first time in his career, Vikram is partnering with Arun Kumar, widely renowned for his work on Sethupathi and Chithha.
Previously, it was reported that the Vikram film would be released in two parts, with the second half hitting theaters before the first. CS Balachander created the art direction, GV Prakash Kumar composed the music, Prasanna GK edited it, and Theni Eswar shot the cinematography. Riya Shibu is producing the picture under the name HR Pictures.
So, the teaser and new posters released on the same day both have the phrase “Part-2,” implying that the film will also have a prequel.
Chiyaan Vikram was most recently seen on screen in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus, Ponniyin Selvan-I and Ponniyin Selvan – II. With the release date of Gautham Vasudev Menon’s film Dhurva Natchathiram remains unknown, the actor’s next project is Thangalaan.
