There have been many reports and speculations about Drishyam 3—specifically whether Venkatesh will reprise his role in the Telugu version of this popular franchise. While Mohanlal is doing the Malayalam version and Ajay Devgn is leading the Hindi version, clarity on the Telugu sequel was awaited.
Now, putting all rumours to rest, Venkatesh confirmed at the NATS 2025 (North Atlanta Telugu Society) event that he is doing Drishyam 3 in Telugu. He also shared exciting updates about his upcoming line-up.
“I will start my next with Trivikram Srinivas and then I play a guest role in Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi’s film. This guest role is funny and will bring laughs to the audience. I am also doing Drishyam 3 with Meena,” revealed Venkatesh.
He also mentioned that he is joining hands again with director Anil Ravipudi for another project. The two earlier collaborated on F2 and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, both of which were huge hits.
“I’m also doing a big project with my friend, who is a big star,” he said. It’s worth noting that this will be Venkatesh’s first full-fledged film under Trivikram Srinivas’s direction. Although Trivikram had worked as a writer on Venkatesh’s earlier films, this time he will be wielding the megaphone.
