Former Rajya Sabha Member V. Hanumantha Rao asked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to attract youth towards sports so that they do not get addicted to harmful things and to provide sports facilities with necessary equipment.
Expressing happiness over Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s statement that the Congress government will develop Hyderabad as a Sports City, VH said that playing grounds were destroyed due to the negligence of the BRS government. He said the Amberpet Municipal Grounds and Amberpet Swimming Pool are examples of the negligence of the BRS government. He appealed to SATS chairman Shiv Sena Reddy to revive the destroyed swimming pool.
Shiva Sena Reddy assured VH that the government will provide sports equipment as part of Khelo India. He said the government will develop sports comprehensively and will announce its sports policy soon.
