Vigraha Sthapana held at Srivari Temple

The Vigraha Stapana event was held at Srivari Temple in Majin village located on the banks of River Suryaputri in Jammu on Wednesday. The idols of Venkateswara, Padmavathi, Goda Devi, Garudalwar, Jaya-Vijaya were cleansed with sacred waters.

In Yagasala, Ratnanyasam and Dhatunyasam were performed followed by Vimana Kalasa Sthapana and Vigraha Sthapana. In the evening, Vaidika rituals including Mahashanti, Purnahuti, Chaturdasa Kalasa Snapanam, Navakalasa Snapanam and Tirumanjanam were observed in Yagasala.

On Thursday, Maha Samprokshanam will be observed in the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam between 7.30 pm and 8.15 pm. In the evening, Srinivasa Kalyanam will be observed from 5 pm onwards. Devotees will be allowed for darshan from 9.30 am onwards.

MP Prabhakar Reddy, LAC New Delhi Chief Prasanthi Reddy, JEO Veerabrahmam, one of the chief priests of Tirumala temple Venugopala Deekshitulu, Kankanabhattar Ramakrishna Deekshitulu, CE Nageswara Rao, DyEOs Gunabhushan Reddy, Sivaprasad, EE Sudhakar, DyEEs Raghuvarma, Chengalrayalu, AEO Krishna Rao, AE Sitaramaraju, Superintendent Subrahmanyam and Temple Inspector Saikrishna were present.
