YSRCP national general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy has welcomed Tollywood star Chiranjeevi’s decision to settle in Visakhapatnam by constructing a house there.
Vijayasai Reddy’s comments have come close on the heels of a lot of positive comments made by the Mega Star about Visakhapatnam, its people, and the YSRCP government led by Jagan Mohan Reddy at the pre-release event of his upcoming film ‘Waltair Veeraiah’.
Chiranjeevi said the people of Visakhapatnam are peace lovers. He declared that he had recently purchased a piece of land on Bhimili road, where he would soon construct a house and settle there. Chiranjeevi was also all praise for the Chief Minister’s Office for making certain suggestions with regard to hosting the pre-release event of his film on Andhra University grounds. He said that if it had been on the beach road as planned originally, there would not have been so much of crowds.
The YSRC leaders feel that Chiranjeevi’s statement is a sort of endorsement of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s decision. Vijayasai Reddy was the first to welcome the Mega Star’s decision.
“I heartily welcome megastar @KChiruTweets garu’s decision to settle down in the executive capital of AP, Visakhapatnam. I sincerely wish his upcoming movie #waltairveeraiah a grand success,” Sai Reddy tweeted.
It may be mentioned here that during his last meeting with Chiranjeevi, the Chief Minister suggested to he take the initiative in expanding the Telugu film industry in Andhra Pradesh with Visakhapatnam as the centre. He also promised to extend all possible assistance to the film industry from the government side. Now that Chiranjeevi himself has declared that he would settle in Visakhapatnam, it would be a big boost to the ruling YSRC and it can expect support from the mega fans
