Executive Director, Safety, Railway Board KP Yadav held a meeting with Divisional Railway Manager Anup Satpathy and Branch Officers of Waltair Division on Safety in Train Operations. On Friday, ED Yadav conducted thorough inspections across the various segments of railway operations at Visakhapatnam.

KP Yadav, ED Safety inspected Visakhapatnam railway station, crew lobby, Accident Relief Train, etc to check the preparedness to meet any eventualities. He was accompanied by Senior Divisional Safety Officer Pravin Bhati and other officials from Waltair Division.

During the meeting, ED Safety Yadav stressed devising a proper feedback mechanism for meaningful outcomes in terms of defect identification and subsequent rectification. He said that the focus should be on reduction in failures, counselling of staff and improving punctuality.
