Vijayawada Municipal Commissioner Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar inspected the work progress at the Excel plant and Iconic park in the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) limits here on Monday and gave several suggestions to the officials. He instructed the construction of two separate sheds to process the coconut waste and the tree branches and instructed to extend the inner road of the plant up to the Vambay colony.
Later, the commissioner inspected the works under progress such as the construction of the compound wall, and the plantation works taken up on the premises of the park and instructed the officials to speed up the work.
Additional Commissioner (Projects) KV Satyavati, Executive Engineers Satyanarayana Rao, ASN Prasad, sanitary inspectors, staff of the secretariat and others were present.
