R&B Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that the BRS bankrupted the state with its 10-year rule and made all government departments debt-ridden. He said that BRS leaders will go to jail soon and that the government will take action after the inquiry by the High Court judge into the corruption of the BRS government. Venkat said that the BRS will not exist in the State and that it will split into four pieces. He added that he was confident that the Congress will be in power for the next 20 years.
Aiming to win 16 LS seats in the coming general elections, the BRS is going to target the Congress government’s implementation of its 6-guarantees by giving 60 days to the state government to implement its assurances. It is learnt that KTR directed party activists to see that existing beneficiaries are not affected in the process of applying for the 6-guarantees of the Congress government. It is learnt that KTR was confident in the meeting that the process of implementing the 6-guarantees within 100 days will give a chance to the BRS to win the coming LS elections. On Monday, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao had a meeting with party leaders of the Chevella Lok Sabha constituency at the Telangana Bhavan.
The BJP General Secretary and the Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday described the BRS as a regional party and said that the people have rejected the BRS in the Assembly elections. He also made it clear that the BRS is not at all a contender for the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. “There is a feeling among people that the Lok Sabha election means Modi’s election. It is a fact that the BJP will certainly win a majority in the coming LS election and the BRS will lose its deposits,” Sanjay said. Meanwhile, the BJP is aiming to win 10 seats in the Lok Sabha elections in Telangana and has been preparing plans in that direction |
