We are against divisive politics: Digvijay Singh

Making it clear that the Congress is against divisive politics, Congress Rajya Sabha member Digvijay Singh alleged that the BJP is using God for politics in the name of Dharma. Digvijay Singh said that Lord Rama belongs to all and beloved one and there is no politics in it.
Digvijay Singh said that Dr BR Ambedkar provided rights in the Constitution to ensure equal justice to all sections of the people and improve their lives. However, the BJP is weakening democracy and the Constitution. Poverty and unemployment have been increasing across the nation and in Telangana. Nobody is happy. Farmers and the unemployed are facing troubles. They did injustice to the unemployed with paper leaks, he slammed.
While addressing the media on Sunday at Gandhi Bhavan along with CWC member Ajoy Kumar and others, Digvijay Singh said that the people of Telangana have been wishing for a change and got ready to vote for it.
He said that the Hyderabad city has developed with the vision of former Chief Minister late YS Rajashekar Reddy and Outer Ring Road (ORR) came during his tenure. He said that Hyderabad city is competing with Bengaluru because of YSR’s vision and his decisions. He said that Hyderabad developed as a global IT hub. More than Rs 3 lakh crore investments are coming from the IT sector only.
He said that Sonia Gandhi had created a separate Telangana Sstate for the betterment of Telangana. Digvijay Singh said that they will complete the projects given as part of assurances during the division of the State, after coming to power.
He said that Sonia Gandhi announced 6-guarantees for the betterment of all sections of the people. He said that the tenant farmers were not getting justice and the Congress will extend Rythu Barosa to tenant farmers and will extend bonus to paddy. Digvijay Singh said that corruption reached its peak in Telangana and people were vexed with the corruption of Kalvakuntla family.
Digvijay Singh said that the Congress implemented all assurances given to the people when they were in power. He said that they implemented the guarantees and assurances in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka states.
