Janasena party chief K Pawan Kalyan vowed to ensure that the YSRCP would not come to power in the next election and called upon people to oppose the YSRCP.

Addressing a crowded public meeting at Dhulipalla village in Sattenapalli mandal in Palnadu district on Sunday, Pawan Kalyan said that there would be no future to the state, if the YSRCP comes to power in the next elections again.

“The YSRCP would have not come to power, if the TDP-JSP-BJP combine had contested together in the 2019 election. The defeat of the YSRCP is necessary to save the state. If the YSRCP wins the next elections, the future of the state will be bleak,” he feared.

Giving a clarion call to the people to oppose the YSRCP and reject it in the next election, he said that he is thinking about the future of the next two generations. Reiterating that he will ensure that the anti-YSRCP votes do not split, he said that he still adhered to his earlier statement that he would not let the anti-YSRCP votes split.

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy told his MLAs and Ministers not to resort to corruption as elections are nearing, he said and ridiculed that the Chief Minister declared ‘Corruption Holiday’.

Referring to the YSRCP leaders comments on his vehicle ‘Varahi’, he dared the YSRCP leaders to stop his vehicle in AP. “I will tour the state on my new vehicle ‘Varahi’ and I dare the ruling party leaders to stop it,” he challenged.

Deploring the plight of farmers in AP, Pawan Kalyan said that the farmers in the state are not happy as they are not getting MSP for their crop. There is no one in the government who could take care of farmers, he criticised. Instead of focusing on saving the cyclone hit farmers, the government is indulging in vindictive politics, he flayed.

Pawan Kalyan said that he is extending financial help to the families of tenant farmers who ended their lives with his own earned money and since he did not inherit property from his grandfathers. Taking a dig at minister for Irrigation Ambati Rambabu, the Janasena chief ridiculed him stating ‘Ambati Kapula Gundella Kumpati’.

JSP Political Affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar said that 281 tenant farmers committed suicides in combined Guntur district alone. After Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power, over 3000 farmers had committed suicides, he claimed.

Manohar said that the JSP wanted to extend financial help of Rs 1 lakh to each of family of tenant farmers who committed suicides. Out of the 281 families, 210 attended the programme today and they were given financial assistance. Later Pawan Kalyn handed over financial assistance to the families of tenant farmers who had taken extreme steps.
