District Collector Satya Sharada has instructed officials to conduct a thorough survey to ensure that the government’s prestigious welfare schemes reach the eligible beneficiaries in a systematic manner.
On Sunday, in the villages of Vanchanagiri and Ookal Haveli in Geesukonda mandal, and Timmampet village in Duggondi mandal, the District Collector personally monitored the field-level survey.
She emphasised the need for a transparent and accurate survey to identify eligible beneficiaries for schemes like the Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Housing, ration cards), and Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa. The details of every beneficiary must be carefully reviewed, and the required data should be accurately recorded, she instructed the officials. The Collector, along with the survey teams, examined factors like the beneficiary’s financial status, land ownership, family details, and eligibility for the schemes.
She urged survey team to interact with the public to collect necessary information. The main duty is to ensure that government schemes reach the people. The survey must be completed promptly and without any delays.
The government is working to provide financial assistance to small and poor farmers through various welfare schemes. The Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme is also aimed at providing welfare benefits to poor families.
The collector also mentioned that the government is committed to providing ration cards, Indiramma houses, Rythu Bharosa, and Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa to all eligible individuals. Applications previously submitted Prajavani programme for white ration cards and those pending at MeeSeva centers would also be considered, she said.
